(b. 1972) graduated from the Instituto Superior de Arte in 1996, where he was also a professor of painting. He has exhibited his work in many solo exhibitions in Cuba, including Galería Servando, Havana (2007). He has exhibited his work internationally at the Gallery Metis-NL, Amsterdam (2006); and the Galería Berini, Barcelona (1998). Group exhibitions include Without Masks, Johannesburg Art Gallery (2010); the Havana
Biennial (2006); and Artists of the Caribbean, Contemporary Art Center, Rotterdam (2001). Douglas participated in Queloides I (1997), Ni Músicos ni Deportistas, Queloides II (1999) and in Queloides: Race and Racism in Cuban Contemporary Art (2010-12).
